Yiddish-language collection of Debs’ writings published on the occasion of his death in 1926. Haim Kantorovitch was a teacher in New York’s Workers’ Schools, an organizer of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, a writer and Marxist theoretician, who was one of the leaders of the Militant faction of the Socialist Party and was founder and editor of The American Socialist Quarterly, the SP’s theoretical magazine. While Kantorovitch was critical of the Bolshevik experience, he never abandoned a revolutionary perspective and was responsible for moving the Socialist Party to the left in the 1930s.
