Hammers of Hell, also titled ‘Riot,’ is a historical novel by I.W.W. leader William E. Trautmann and German-American educator Peter Hagboldt (largely with translation in English of Trautmann’s German). It deals with the experiences of Trautmann during the bloody Pressed Steel Car strike in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania during 1909.
