Sectarian gadfly George Spiro (pseudonym George Marlen), who had split from Hugo Oehler’s Revolutionary Workers League with a half dozen comrades in 1937 to form the Leninist League and wage war on the pretenders, here presents a nearly 500 page expose on the then General Secretary of the Communist Party, Early Browder. The Leninist League produced In Defense of Bolshevism from 1937 until 1939 when the journal changed to The Bulletin of the Leninist League. Noam Chomsky, was introduced to politics in the 1940s, in part, by L.L. supporter, the professor Ellis Rivkin.
