An early Hal Draper published work, written in response to the Comintern’s official change of international posture to the Popular Front at its Seventh Congress in July 1935. Draper was elected National Secretary of the the YPSL in 1937 and would lead its majority in splitting with the Socialist Party and founding the Socialist Workers Party in December, 1937.
