While researching the previous post on Hubert H. Harrison, I came across this document. The great Black revolutionary intellectual and socialist Hubert H. Harrison’s hand-written notes for a 1924 lecture on why Mark Twain was ‘the greatest American writer.’ While not entirely within the conceit of this page. Combining two passionate interests, and a comment on U.S. racial history, I felt compelled to share.
