Marxist historian Harvey Goldberg lectures on Lenin’s revolutionary activity and ideas in the context of the situation in Russia and the debates within the international workers movement on the party and the class struggle, centered a look at the Bolsheviks around the 1905 Revolution. Goldberg, who has rightly been called ‘The John Coltrane of Lecturers’ for his brilliant explorations and his tireless, sometimes volcanic, delivery, was a legendary Marxist history professor here lecturing at UW Madison on February 11, 1976.
