A rare pamphlet from Charles E. Ruthenberg, who would become the leader of the Communist Party in the 1920s, and by 1917 had an already well established position of leadership in the Socialist Party’s Left Wing. This pamphlet was published by the powerful, large, and left Cleveland local of the S.P. and gives a good sense of the politics of revolutionary socialists in the S.P. in the decade before the Russian Revolution.
