American Appeal was a newspaper nominally edited by Eugene V. Debs that served as a semi-official organ of the Socialist Party of America in the 1920s. Published weekly out of Chicago, American Appeal took over for the The Socialist World in 1925, also published by the SPA and ‘edited’ by Debs with Murray King as Managing Editor.
